One of the requirements for this class is a general website with links to my projects within this class. Also required are my name, email, and a picture, so let's get ice-cracking!
Y helo thar! My name is Danielle Monnier and I am a credit-wise third year Information Technology major with a minor in Technical Writing. I aspire to be a website designer and programmer, which explains why I'm taking this course, 409: Website Design and Implementation, because it's part of my IT concentration.
According to the syllabus we'll be doing:
- Information design & architecture
- Graphic design and web gestalt
- Cascading style sheets (CSS)
- JavaScript
- Dynamic HTML (DHTML)
- Frames
- Web-based forms
- Introductory PERL
- Server-side technologies
A buddy of mine Photoshopped this picture of me onto an old Victorian painting, and he did a very good job too. Much love to mark24 of Genmay.com. However, it's a shame that the IE browser sucks at standards compliance and transparent image handling, so I suggest you get a REAL browser like FireFox that actually follows standards and makes this site (and others) a whole lot better.

Last but not least, you can contact me at dsm7583©rit.edu, substitute @ for the © to keep the little email harvester nerds away. Please note that everything on this site is © Danielle Monnier 2005, so no mooching stuff unless I give you explicit permission!
